Investigators working in child exploitation undercover and victim identification roles face unique challenges that few people fully understand. While the mission remains critically important, the cumulative impact of prolonged exposure to traumatic material can take a significant toll on those doing the work.
This retreat brings together a small group of experienced professionals from around the world to openly discuss the realities of the role, share lessons learned, explore practical approaches to reducing harm, and strengthen the support networks that help sustain investigators throughout their careers.
Through facilitated discussions, guest speakers, and peer-to-peer conversations, participants will collaborate on ways to better protect the people dedicated to protecting children.
